ARE YOU FEELING WORTH NOTHING OR USELESS?


Feeling useless in your life?

It is easy to feel useless in the world. You might think that you are lacking something in your life or you just do not know what exactly what that something is. I’m not good at anything. If this feeling has been bothering you for a while now, maybe it’s time to take some steps towards finding out what could make your existence a little bit more worthwhile.

Why do I feel so useless?

There are many reasons why someone would feel unable to contribute anything of value to society and sometimes these feelings can be triggered with very small things such as being turned down for a job position or receiving criticism from somebody close to us. We tend to over-analyses these events and we look at them through our own eyes instead of looking at them from other people’s perspective. At the end of the day, it’s our mind that makes us think we are useless and as a result, these thoughts can have an adverse effect on your life. Instead of thinking I’m not good at anything, try replacing that thought with “Maybe there are better suited people for this position” or “I am not happy in my current job”.

Even though you might apply those changes in your way of thinking to yourself, you should also consider whether other people might share your feeling of being unimportant. The next time somebody tells you about their new promotion or their recent engagement, try using such situations to boost your own self confidence instead of comparing yourself to them and finding out what they have that you don’t.

Focus on yourself

It is very important that you focus on your own development and work to improve yourself. There is no point in comparing yourself with others because everybody has different dreams and desires. Once you figure out what it is that makes you happy, start working towards it and maybe, one day, somebody will find your existence valuable just like you do now!

Don’t be afraid of trying new things.

 If being a writer feels right for you, give it a shot! Even if the first thing or two that come out of your pen does not meet critical acclaim, keep going until somebody comes along who can appreciate your talent and put it to good use. The same rule applies no matter what career path you choose: if the job makes you feel fulfilled then there is nothing wrong with it.

It’s okay to have a day from time to time where you feel like you want to be alone and you just don’t want to do anything at all, but even on those days make sure that you treat yourself well. You are not useless just because your routine got interrupted or simply because the day is over and there’s nothing more for you to accomplish. Just by accepting this fact can help significantly with getting rid of feeling useless. Some people might think that if we relax too much then we will stop doing what makes us feel happy, when in reality allowing ourselves, some rest will only refill our batteries and make us stronger tomorrow than we were today!

Maybe undergoing therapy would benefit you as well 

Sometimes feeling useless can affect our day-to-day life and make us feel afraid for no apparent reason. By talking to a professional therapist, you can better understand your feelings and emotions which should help you identify what exactly might be making you feel so useless in the first place. With some guidance and support, it is easier than ever today to discover our true calling in life or even just find peace of mind by realizing that feeling like we are worth nothing and I’m not good at anything is only a chain reaction from too much stress on ourselves.

And remember: just because somebody feels like they don’t matter does not mean that they actually don’t! Just look around you and see how many people do you come across whose existence totally adds to this world and makes it more incredible every single day! Sometimes we forget this basic human need to feel important because now, most of us live in a world where so many options are available and it is easy to get lost. Remember that your life has value and being able to say “I am happy with who I am” is the best gift you can give yourself!

You can help somebody who feels useless

If you know somebody who suffers from this feeling, be supportive towards them but do not belittle their feelings. They might go through a rough patch right now but they will come out stronger than they have ever been before!
